New cycling lanes have gone in, ridership has gone up, our courses and events have seen big growth and great feedback, and we want to celebrate with you. Pop by the VACC Headquarters for a spirited eggnog, some snacks, and maybe even bike carol singing.

Come on upstairs!

The VACC offers four types of courses for the public and all courses now include membership in the VACC. With different lengths and focuses, you can learn how to bike more safely and comfortably in traffic with in-classroom and on-road training. Find the safest place on the road to ride, how to maneuver your bike effectively, communicate with other road users, handle riding at night and in the rain, and more. You’ll gain the skills and confidence you need to enjoy riding in the city! You can also learn bike maintenance including a basic inspection, clean and oiling, checking brakes and gears, and a few other tricks to make riding more enjoyable.
For beginners, we have a Learn to Ride one-on-one lessons to learn to ride a bicycle as an adult.
For pros, we have Can Bike II (2 days), for those who would like to take their skills and safety training to the next level, or for people who use their bike in a professional capacity.
