Bike to School Week 2010 will run concurrently with Bike to Work Week 2010 - May 31- June 4. You can start today by registering for free on the Bike to School site - make sure that you sign up under the School category so that you will be able to see how your class and school measures up to the others around the region.

Bike to Work & School Week is a fun, week-long event that celebrates biking to work and school. The Vancouver Area Cycling Coalition wants to help you and your school celebrate your daily bike commute. Sign up your school. It’s free, it’s easy, and most importantly, it's fun.

Register your school (or different class teams within the school) for Bike to Work  and School Week May 31-June 4 and enjoy friendly competitions with other schools. We have prizes for the schools who log the most commutes by bike and individual prize during Bike to School Week. Log your commutes on the VACC website to calculate your kilometres biked to school and discover the CO2 emissions you have saved and how you compare to others. There are lots of celebrations and activities that you can arrange at your school. We'll work with your school to make an event that works for you - contact us to find out more.
